Volunteers play a vital role in the Susan G. Komen Memphis-MidSouth Race for the Cure®. Their passion and commitment is what makes our Race successful. Today, thanks to more than 100,000 survivors and volunteers/activists, Susan G. Komen® is the world’s largest, most progressive grassroots organization fighting breast cancer.
It’s fun. It’s rewarding. And you’ll meet some truly incredible people when you volunteer for the Komen Memphis-MidSouth Race for the Cure. The success of the Race depends heavily on the support we receive from more than a hundred volunteers in the months leading up to the Race and on Race Day.
Who can volunteer?
Fun-loving, enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable individuals who are willing to contribute to the success of the Komen Memphis-MidSouth Race.
When can you volunteer?
There are two ways you can volunteer for the Race:

Volunteer Registration for the 2016 Race is open. Please read all instructions below before volunteering.
Steps for registering to volunteer:
Please remember when you volunteer that we rely on all volunteers to show up on time for their registered shifts and stay the entire time. Also, please be understanding that if necessary we may need to use your volunteer time in another section of the Race and may request that you change jobs day of.
*Please note: In order to receive a Volunteer T-Shirt you must volunteer a minimum of 4 hours.
